🔥 A new kind of tabletop experience has landed at the southeast corner of Power and Warner in southeast Mesa: DZO BBQ, a Vietnamese BBQ spot that sets itself apart from the sea of Korean tabletop joints in the area.
Diners order à la carte or in combo sets – this is not all-you-can-eat – and grill their own meats tableside.
Highlights include lemongrass short rib, garlic rice, and the classic dipping duo of lime-pepper sauce and nuoc cham, with rice paper and veggies rounding out the combo.
The bar program leans into the concept as hard as the kitchen does. A Pho Spiced Margarita brings together tequila, citrus, and warming pho spices finished with a savory chili salt rim, while a 5 Spice Old Fashioned gives the classic cocktail a Vietnamese pantry makeover.
Open 4-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 11:30 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Sunday.
