Apple Pie Frita – apple pie and cheesecake filling folded into a tortilla and deep-fried – is one of the July specials at Serrano’s Mexican Restaurants:
- Shrimp Cocktail Tostaditas: Shrimp, red onion, tomatoes, and chiles with a blend of sauces and spices and served on three miniature tostadas ($9.99);
- Al Pastor Citrus Salad: Al pastor chicken, orange and grapefruit segments, queso fresco, cilantro, and Tajin-roasted pepitas over romaine with a citrus vinaigrette ($12.99);
- Al Pastor Chicken Fajitas: Sizzlin platter of chicken breast strips immersed in al pastor marinade with onions, green chiles, and red bell peppers ($13.99);
- Apple Pie Frita: Topped with cinnamon sugar and caramel drizzle ($5.99);
- Strawberry Passion Fruit Margarita ($6.99).
Serrano’s also announced it’s a Training Table Partner of the 2021 Arizona Rattlers indoor football team.
