Dos Chris’ Bakery & Charcuterie, a year-old catering company known for its eye-catching meat and cheese boards, opens a storefront shop in uptown Phoenix. (see post)

The Henhouse Cafe, a group of East Valley breakfast and lunch restaurants, opens its fourth location in south Tempe. (see post)

Kentucky-based Green District Salads makes its Arizona debut in southeast Gilbert. (see post)

85°C Bakery Café (pictured), a Taiwanese chain with more than 1,000 locations worldwide, opens its first Arizona location next to 99 Ranch Market in Chandler. (see post)

Crust Simply Italian opens its third Valley location along with a next-door cocktail bar, The Blue Heron, at Verde at Cooley Station in Gilbert. (see post)

Fire at Will, a third concept from Valley chef Dom Ruggiero, opens in the space that formerly housed Caribbean restaurant Little Cay in northeast Phoenix. (see post)

Hanshin Pocha, a quick-casual Korean street food tavern in Los Angeles, opens a second location in the former Draft Sports Grill space in Mesa. (see post)

Cornish Pasty Co., a Tempe-based chain, has opened its ninth Valley location in north Phoenix. (see post)

Arcadia Farms Cafe in Old Town Scottsdale sells and closes the cottage that housed its cafe but plans to reopen across the street in December. (see post)

Valley deli chain Chompies unexpectedly closes its 25-year-old Tempe location next to the ASU campus. (see post)

Ay, Chabela, a Mexican seafood inspired restaurant, closes after just a month in business in downtown Phoenix. (see post)

Utah-based chain Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill closes its location in south Chandler. (see post)

Pomegranate Cafe, one of the Valley’s top vegetarian and vegan restaurants, closes after 12 years in business in Ahwatukee. (see post)
